PeerLine (Beta) – Give and Receive Support On-Demand

We’re thrilled to introduce the PeerLine, a new ShareWell offering that’s currently in beta.

This post contains an overview of how the PeerLine will work, along with why we built it and how you can help shape its future.

How the PeerLine Works

PeerLine makes it easy to connect with others for support right now. Here’s what to expect when the beta launches:

• Audio-only conversations that last 15 minutes.
• Before joining, you’ll answer a few quick questions to help match with the best 2-3 peers available.
• While in beta, there will be no limit on how many Lines you can join.

Why We Built PeerLine

We’ve heard from many of you that you want more ways to connect outside of scheduled support groups. Sometimes, you want to talk to someone in the moment—whether you're looking for connection or ready to support someone else. PeerLine was created to make these real-time connections possible, giving you access to peer support in the moment.

We’ve also heard from community members who see PeerLine as a great first step for those who might feel hesitant about joining live video groups. It’s a low-pressure way to connect through conversation, and an opportunity for experienced members to help welcome newer members into the ShareWell community.

Who Is PeerLine For?

• If you’re seeking support, PeerLine connects you with someone who, like you, is eager to share connection and support.
• If you’re able to offer support, it’s a way to be there for others who could benefit from your time and attention.

PeerLine Safety

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Here are a few things to know before joining PeerLine:

• Flexible Group Size – while we aim for three peers per Line, the PeerLine will start with two if a third participant isn’t available.
• Reporting Concerns – just like our sessions, you can flag and report members and safety concerns to our safety team.
